As I've had a really silly amount of school, I'll use that as an analogue -

we don't confer honor and respect for having completed one graduate
level
class. We confer honor and respect for getting a Master's, Ph.D., DVM,
or
MD. Lot more to it than one class.


Yep.  And we don't count a high school diploma as a Bachelor's degree,
nor do we count a Bachelor's degree as a Master's Degree, nor do we
count a Master's degree as a doctorate.  Each one is its own level of
education. (And I can vouch for that as well, as one who has also had a
really silly amount of school, and is back getting more...)
