If a rider is riding 20 meters behind another rider - that is his/her business and he/she has a perfect right to do so as long as they might want. A person's personal space doesn't not include a zone 2 kilometers behind them ;-) . A person can only lay claim to a small portion of the trail - the rest is free game. If you can't control your horse because a rider or group of rides is 20 meters behind you - your horse is not trained well enough to be out on the trail in an endurance ride.I just have a difficult time understand the issue here.
