Your noggin will not be safe in a bike helmet while riding a horse. BTW...you want a riding helmet that protect the lower part of your head...that is why most riding helmets are cut low in the back. I think most falls from a horse ....are backward falls...so you need that area of your head protected. I'm finding myself not wearing my helmet on everyday rides because it's too uncomfortable. Not a good thing Sorry to hear this. I rather cut my hair off than not wear a helmet. Have you tried different size helmets ...ones that adjust in the back? Good luck!
