Re: [RC] living quarters 2H straight load - Diane TrefethenElizabeth Walker wrote:The F250 is the 3/4 ton. It should be able to do a 2H LQ.Except not all 3/4 tons are created equal. Nor is what is asked of them always the same. I have a 4wd 3/4 ton. I live up a mountain. My truck can barely pull my 2H trailer with 2 Arabs home. I wouldn't want to find out that my 3/4 ton Ford or Chevy or Dodge *might* have been able to haul my 2H BP but totally craps out in the middle of nowhere (we have nowhere in CA) because I have another ton in foo-foo space. Like I said originally... no guru. Just cautious enough to want to make sure my hauling vehicle is up to what I am going to ask of it. Most trailer dealers are more interested in selling than matching loads. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
