Re: [RC] Non-endurance Husbands - Betsy ThomasI have little kids-- ages 5 and 8. My husband is allergic to hay. But, he spends Sundays with the kids while I go out and condition my horse. I can't do it without him. Plus, his job is what pays the barn bill, can't forget that either LOL. He is very patient, and tells me to go have a good time and just don't get hurt. Oh, and if I'm out, like, 4 hours past when I'm supposed to be home to try to find some place with cellphone coverage or something, to call in. Of course, there never is cellphone coverage. I've learned to give better estimates of my ETA and he's learned to trust that at some point, I'll walk in the door exhausted, covered in dust and grime, and grinnin' like a fool.
