[RC] VMAX Heartbelt - Angie FuraI just ordered and received a VMAX heartbelt. This is the style of HRM that uses a belt to hold the transmitter against the horse's side. I purchased this so I didn't have to carry a separate handheld transmitter in VC's when riding cavalry. (At Longtstreet's, I only had saddle-based electrodes so I was "blind" as soon as I untacked).
The instructions say that its not to be used under saddle. I didn't realize that when I bought it. Does anyone use one under saddle? Or is the norm to just strap it on once you've untacked?
