[RC] re:Burn Injury From Hot Ash - Sluys GuysWe have a dog that was burned on 25% of her body. We tried several remedies but the only one that was effective was raw honey. We packed the wounds daily in honey and the wound stayed sterile, hydrated and the skin grew back rapidly (well, 3 months, it was a really big wound. ) If you can tape a bandage on somehow to hold the honey on this is really your best bet. We were amazed at the success of honey and I have since used it on several other serious wounds with great success. Can't say enough good things about it. Good luck!
