I've never seen a summary of horse deaths for eventing. I only compared 
venues that I personally attended. I used to attend about the same # of 
events as I do rides now and there were a similar  number of horses 
competing. I do remember a discussion of rider deaths in eventing.  One 
year there were seven.  Libby
