I'm sure glad that someone does. Because I've seen this movie and it ends very, very badly. I don't  mind if they want to play the rich kids games all over the place, but please, please people...is this endurance riding as you know and love it or is it the *BIG* *SPARKLING* *GLITTERY* new sport of endurance racing?  The new sport that has horses running as fast as possible as far as possible in the shortest time possible and scenery or track difficulty be damned...Well, gee whiz. I think it is.

My personal impression of the announcement was "Anybody ever heard of
"conflict of interest????"  Imagine this if it were an election of some
sort. An extremely rich candidate offers to pay for the training and
expenses associated with such for all the vote counting election officials.
As a matter of fact, the candidate's *wife* is the top official in the
office that is in charge of making sure everything stays fair...and thank
goodness she has the pull to get the money to treat everyone. Nothing is
free. When lots of money comes in something is getting bought.

I am an extreme outsider so may be way off on many things. All I am saying
for a fact is that this is the *perception* I get.
