about a year ago down the road from my place,  two local pits killed
an entire barn yard full of animals. they took down a mini horse, a
old (late 20's) shetland pony, two sheep, a pig, and some chickens.
they killed all these animals in one night~!!!   unbelievable.

these pits belong to two men in their 20's who live on the road about
a mile from the end of my driveway.

six months before the attack on the barn yard animals, the dogs had
attacked a man who had been jogging down my road.

the township...did nothing about these dogs. the sheriff department
did nothing about these dogs. to this date...nothing has been done
about these dogs.

i have two small equines. my ice pony is 13.2 hands and my mini mare
is only 29.5" tall.  there is no way that i can leave my mini mare
home alone in the pasture when i take huginn out for day rides. my
stalls are panel stalls, which means that i have to put my  mini mare
in the barn and close the barn up.  or bring her along and leave her
tied to the trailer while i ride.

i don't even feel safe taking a walk down my road with my dogs or when
i ride huginn down the road.  it's a shame that some folks take pride
in owning aggressive dogs.   raven
