RE: [RC] making your own portable corral - Kristen A FisherAre you talking about t-posts and that bright orange fencing? If so, I have used that. It worked OK, but: - you have to be on ground where you can pound in the posts - you have to devise some way of keeping the fencing attached to the posts - when they lean on it or over it, it really sags and stretches - it is nearly impossible to have a good "gate" AAMOF that's the only containment my mare has ever gotten loose from. Twice. Kristen A construction/snow fence corral set up with step in posts. That stuff is really strong and durable looking. I figure if I can install no climb fence by myself, I should be able to set up a plastic fencing corral. This is my favorite option right now. Do any of you have thoughts on which one would be best, or other options? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
