[RC] "legs forward" - Kristi SchaafJust brainstorming...could it be that they can use that position because they canter/gallop so much and trot so little (if at all)? When I canter bareback, my knees move up and my legs move forward to almost the same position as theirs. But I don't think there's any way you can post effortlessly in a saddle with your feet up there, so it would NOT be an efficient position for trotting (think of the excess forward/back movement seen in saddle seat classes - not the best way to post 50 or 100 miles). Kristi Life's a journey, so enjoy the ride (and try not to fall off) ____________________________________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
