[RC] PC--Fred - Ginger Bill

I think it's so cool that Fred participated in the ride and that he finished. Endurance is such a wonderful activity and, as I've said before, in my opinion, endurance is truly not a team sport unless it is just one horse with one rider. I don't care if the US spends two years training horses and riders and spend lots of money it probably won't work. Bottom line it comes down to the individual courage and athleticism of the individual horse/rider team. Fred most certainly deserved to be there and he took the initiative to get himself in that position to make it a reality. Maybe, officially he did not represent the US, but I'm proud that someone was there that could make us proud and that hasn't happened for quite a spell. Fred, you also delighted the Western Region. Way to go guy! Ginger
