That's a nice quick ride time for 62 miles, about 16.3 mph. ==================================== Johnt: The 30% was better than the year before which has 25% or so completion rate for 80km. Winning time of 3:06 with an average speed of 25.75km/hr http://www.endurance.net/international/2006presidentscup/YoungRidersCup/ (in - http://www.endurance.net/international/2006presidentscup/) That got me looking at: http://www.endurance.net/2005PresidentsCup/info.html As I recall from the 2005 YR event, it was something like 8 out of 50 finishing, but those results aren't available. (although I couldn't find the results: http://www.uaeequafed.ae/live/presidentcup05Jun/liveindex.htm ) That got me to looking at the UAE calendar for this year: http://www.uaeequafed.ae/endevents.htm which particularly lists a bunch of 40km and 80km qualifier rides. Likely feeding in to the longer distances at both YR and Open levels. jt =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
