Re: [RC] re: You should (was agressive kicker) - CTHUnprovoced kicks need to be dealt with. We had a horse trying to kick the vet ect.If another horse attacks and it is self defense then THAT owner needs to be DQed Every incident needs to be looked at separately. My earlier post was not about this incident but my opion concerning kicking horses. I had a JR s horse double barreled for no reason on a ride. The gelding had to back up to get him. He was not in his space. The rider thought this was okay. He always acts like this when he is hyper she said. Her horses have continued to be a problem at events. Her I would DQ Paddi While I agree that a horse that kicks around a vet check at another horse, vet or volunteer should be DQ'ed, I also feel that if this reaction was prompted by the actions of another horse (bitting a horse, banging into the horse, etc.), that horse should also be DQ'ed. There are a lot of different acts of aggression and none should be tolerated. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
