When I started riding endurance in 1988 the cowboys around here said "feed'um 4-5 pounds of rolled corn with 15 pounds of alfalfa". According to this article those cowboys knew how to feed a hard working horse but I quit feeding corn after several years because of the many articles about it not being very good for endurance horses. What is your opinion on feeding rolled corn to endurance horses?
