Hi all, I was trying the other day to re-charge my Garmin GPS and discovered it is not working properly! I had wondered why the battery had run low as I know I turned it off last use, and usually not problem recharging it.
But now however, it turns itself on, won't turn off and I can't control it. It will recharge if I plug it in but as soon as I unplug it it turns itself on and I can't shut it off!
It seems to have developed a mind of it's own! I have no idea what in the world has happened. Only thing different is that I hadn't used it in a few months. It was working then, never been wet or dropped, etc.
I wanted go let my daughter use it so I could teach her pacing w/her mare so she could learn how to "feel" different pace speeds.
Any thoughts or suggestions out there from any of you capable hi-tech experts?
I loved my GPS and it was very useful. Geez, my HR monitor doesn't work and now my GPS. Good thing my horse does! :)

ps..I looked thru the manual and there is nothing about repair, rebooting the system that I could find. Nothing. :(((
