It never bothers me to be alone at a ride, in fact, I never plan to ride with anyone at a ride. I figure there are enough folks on the trail, that if something weird happens, I will have help. There is also someone out there who will come looking for you if you don't show up, or your horse shows up without you.

I hate to sound mean, but how do you expect to do endurance then??? Lots of times that you will be alone. Even if you bring a buddy to ride with...what if they get pulled??? Would you then pull too?

i do need a buddy, i don't ride alone. i had a VERY serious accident about 4 years ago, as in ambulance, life flight, lucky to be alive, accident, while working with my horse alone, now i wont go out by myself, and will barely handle them if im home myself, unless its an emrgency.
