[RC] age per miles - shermanNope, you're not too old to start. I was 54, didn't waste time doing any LDs (I did do 25 mile conditioning rides though) and just did my first 100 this year (:>) My heat training is to walk in the heat, like I have to do at Tevis. Walked 7 miles with an injured horse in '06, in '07 only had to walk (tail) up one canyon. Kathy Someone Somewhere ooohhh, ya'll give me hope, i keep thinkin that at 41, almost 42, im too old to start endurance riding, but, maybe not :) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
