Re: [RC] New hauling question... - Sisu West Ranch
This first came up on a February day when we were
going to trailer a yearling from NB to WI, in an open stock trailer. I
insisted that there was no reason to add the stress of a blanket (she had grown
up outside in a herd and never been either trailered or blanketed). She
came through fine. Since then we have almost never blanketed for
trailering.
The one exception has been with tired horses on a
few cold days in MN when they had to be trailered home right after a 25 mile
CTR. (The last ride of the season which did not allow camping either
before or after the ride.)
