[RC] Grass hay - Sharon Hahn

Sometimes horses just won't eat what they aren't used to.  Some horses (esp. ex-race horses) won't even eat apples and carrots until they are taught to like them.  Unless you are at a ride and know they NEED to eat NOW, I wouldn't worry about it - they will eat it when they get hungry as long as it is good quality hay.  You might explore how to keep them from using it as bedding - perhaps feeding in a tire or something?
