Re: [RC] Be part of the solution - Truman PrevattI think it fair to say we seem many more problems in 50s and above than LD's in the SE. Part of it may be the emphasis SERA puts into the new riders meetings. A lot of the credit for this goes to wonderful work of Joe and Tamra Schoech. We just don't see the problems with the shorter distances. As Jody pointed out we see the problems with a small number of riders in the longer distances.So if other areas are having problems with LD riders - I suggest that they form strong regional organizations and push for rider education and emphasis starting when a rider shows up at his/her first ride.
