Ouch!
My little gelding, was actually given the barn name Forrest by his breeder - the 4H kids mercifully (???) renamed him for me. "Rufus". Just as yucky - but how do you tell a dozen 4 H kids that the name they voted on really stinks? LOL His name HAD to be changed though, I am a developmental services worker and couldn't begin to explain that original to my boss and still look good to management? Funny thing is, my horse really does have the personality - looks and kinda acts stupid and slow, while simultaneously being too smart for his own bloody good. He tricks everybody into not paying too much attention to him but he miraculously gets what he wants, a LOT. He ultimately outwits folks - lulls you into a false sense of security ....
