Re: [RC] Class C motorhomes - Dessia Miller

I towed for years in a Class C 24 foot motorhome (a 1976 to boot!). Other that it was quite thirsty, it was wonderful having a bed off the ground and everthing packed in it's own space with room for friends too. It "died" last year and we bought a Class A 30' 1988 motorhome and it tows beautifully, I can back it and the trailer up if I need to and everything works! (The older one we didn't use the gas anymore.)  So having heat, cooking, built in generator, loads of storage and comfort is just wonderful. I sometimes worry about room at some of the ride sites, but so far hasn't been a problem. You can get some great deals in the fall, especially at RV places where they don't want to store the trade ins over the winter. I picked this one up for $6000.

Subject: [RC] Class C motorhomes

Dear ridecampers,

I am considering buying an RV to tow my three horse trailer.  Are there any Ridecampers that use a class C motorhome or some type of van camper that is small, but comfortable for towing?  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Sheila
