[RC] Riders, lets be nice - rides2farIt lets > them see a couple things in advance. For example:> Do they like helping? (Are they genuinely a GIVER)\ I'd add to that: "Are they the type that knows what the inside of a convertible looks like after driving down a few miles of dirt road, then parking next to it for a few hours while others drive & ride by during a drought?" :-) My sister in law whose snow white tennis shoes had never left pavement showed up to watch her daughter do a ride with me. She's a class act from the word go and I've always admired her. She didn't let me down. This happened to be the one ride Kaboot & I won and it was on a hot day in GA. At the last vet check she was in there, starched matching plaid blouse & shorts sponging with everyone. The only thing I had to tell her was not to feed him while they took his pulse. She was hand feeding beet pulp though she'd never seen the stuff before. She probably ruined those shoes but definitely scored some points with me. Sometimes you just don't know who will come through in a tight till they stand the test of fire. :-) Angie =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
