I am with you! at Ft Stanton we had 2 cowboys come to their first endurance ride and I helped them pulse the horses at the vet check. Loaned them interference boots for one horse who was nicking himself on the hind fetlock and Mike Maul rode with them the entire ride. We laughed and told stories with their crew, several riders gave them electrolytes and helped them dose the horses the night before the ride and we all made new friends. The author of this article is OFF base if you ask me.
