  I remember one ride where they gave out a few "scratch and win" 
lottery cards to each finisher. It was kind of fun to see if we won any 
money for gas for our next ride. It was also a relief to see a group of 
riders scratching something vigorously after a ride other than 
themselves. "All the scratch without the rash." :>   Dr Q
