Hi D'Arcy,

A web bug is just a tiny bit of graphics embedded in either a website or an 
email.  They are not viruses.  I Googled ("web bug" detect) and after 
reviewing information on several sites, including cNet, I think the 
software from the following is legitimate and can help you spot web bugs, 
both in your emails and on the Internet.  It is free:
