Re: [RC] sore horse - Laney HumphreyPossibly your cinch rings, or the edge of the saddle pad. You indicate that the sore areas are in the same place on both sides so I'd carefully examine the saddle and pad to see what's lying over the areas. Resaddle the horse exactly as he was saddled at the ride and hopefully you'll be able to identify the culprit.Good luck! I put a liniment on it ( the horse version of icy hot) and massaged it in. Now I'm trying to figure out what would be causing it? it was in the lower part of his barrel not the upper. We didn't do any more trotting/climbing then usual in fact i was riding with my junior daughter and we ended up over time.any ideas would be much appreciated Thanks in advance =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
