[RC] sore horse - jamie ward

I switched saddle's with my husband because mine was giving my horse a sore back. his back has shown NO soreness when i brush him out after conditioning rides but; this sat after a 25 mile LD ride He was very sore in his barrel on both side's. I put a liniment on it ( the horse version of icy hot) and massaged it in. Now I'm trying to figure out what would be causing it? it was in the lower part of his barrel not the upper. We didn't do any more trotting/climbing then usual in fact i was riding with my junior daughter and we ended up over time.any ideas would be much appreciated Thanks in advance
