[RC] Parelli and Natural Horsemanship - Kristi SchaafDave said: At my first endurance-related ride, several of the vets volunteered that my horse was one of the best behaved of all those they had checked that day....I attribute his transformation to, in large part, the lessons we learned from the Parellis. _______________ Since I only check posts on the endurance.net page and can't email Dave direct, apologies to anyone reading this who is sick of the NH thread. I promise that this is my last public post on the subject. Dave - I SOOOO hear you! My horse, though he wasn't a mustang, had a TON of major issues when I got him, and I was at a loss how to earn his trust and thankfully 'found' NH. Fast forward several years; we recently attended his first AERC ride and got a comment similiar to yours. The vet could not believe that it was his first ride as he was so calm, responsive to me and 'well-mannered'. I was so proud of him, and only someone who knew where we started would be able to completely understand what that type of comment meant. Maybe some of you out there could help a horse with this kind of baggage without any assistance from a 'guru', but in my case, PNH and then a gentle cowboy named Brent Graef gave me the pieces I needed to complete this horse's puzzle. Kristi Life's a journey, so enjoy the ride (and try not to fall off) ____________________________________________________________________________________ Yahoo! oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, not web links. http://mobile.yahoo.com/mobileweb/onesearch?refer=1ONXIC =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
