So, next week we will taking Alpine down to the University of 
Florida for a> lameness work up, with X-rays and nerve blocks, and all

that fun 

stuff.


Personally, I've had much better luck with upper end private practices
than with Universities. Got that tip from a vet who said something like,
the University is there to teach students using your horse and you
remember the name of the University, not the vet. The private
practicitioner is in business to cure your horse and keep you as a
client.  Don't know how far down in FLA. you are, but lots of Floridians
go up to Dr. Murray in Pell City, AL.
