[RC] Which fetlock boots? - Kristi SchaafDon wrote: Even with fetlock boots you must file the screw heads flat with a good coarse metal file but leave some of the "+" so the screwdriver will still work to turn the screws. ____________ Don, after reading (on another chat list) your wonderful suggestion to file the screw heads flat, I did just that, and then covered the 'flat' screw heads with a flexible caulk, and rode an LD. The first half of the ride was great - not a single ding. Then the caulk wore off and he was bloody again. So, yep, fetlock boots PLUS flat screw heads are the next step. Hopefully he'll eventually carry himself better as he gets more fit/experienced, and the cuts will be a thing of the past. Kristi Life's a journey, so enjoy the ride (and try not to fall off) ____________________________________________________________________________________ Building a website is a piece of cake. Yahoo!
