Yes it can and does happen that there are communication errors..the website 
showed me getting pulled at Last Chance (50 miles), then showing up at the 
River Crossing at 88 miles...I know I was singing Steve Miller's "Fly like 
an Eagle"...but that would be some flight down the canyon!
