RE: [RC] Congrats to Ron Chapman and Paul - Debbie ParsonsI was part of Ron and Paul's crew and needless to say, we were estatic with their completions! Way to go guys!!! There's nothing like waiting in the dark at the top of the hill at the finish of Tevis and watching "your" riders emerge from the dark. The only better thing would be if you were the rider emerging from the dark! At some point this week, once I've recovered from my trip, I'll put together my tale of the experience. This was my 2nd time out to Tevis (I went out there last year as well) and I'm still as enthralled with it as I was before. I've now crewed for 2 sets of 2 riders and have a 100% completion rate with my riders. You can't ask for more than that! And maybe next year, if the stars, moon, and sun line up and the endurance dieties cooperate, I can ride my horse there and be the one seeing the lights at the finish!
