[RC] tevis - Kathie FordHi all, just got home (temporarily) from being a Volunteer at Robinson Flat today and checked in some lost and found items at Foresthill I dropped off on the way home. Quick shower and returning to the finish. Maybe around 9:30 or 10 possibly.Anyway, saw John Crandell come in 1st and The Reynolds, Heather and Jeremy coming in fairly closely behind John. All horses looked very good, still well hydrated too considering it is just about 99 degrees out there. Hot and dry.. Must have been hot in the canyons...have to also say, as well as John's horse looked, Jeremy's had plenty of attitude and energy and Heather's had a "Winner's Look in his/her eye too! So... Hummmm...could be interesting.. There were pulls at Robinson and some treatments. One poor gal went to the hospital in Truckee as I was told she was ponying a horse (told a loose horse caught..not sure) but she got kicked and hurt. So we should have thoughts and prayers for her. They hauled her horse out of Robinson for her and it will be cared for. Sure hope she is okay. Looks like there might be some competition between the Reynolds and Crandell. All three 1,2,3 were looking good themselves and very focused on the homecoming task at hand!! Hope you are all enjoying the webcast. Jackie, it is exciting in there!!! :)) Good to see you!
