Re: [RC] helmets - Kathy MayedaI agree that the Parelli's could set a lot better example about helmet usage. I myself feel more comfortable driving around without seatbelts than not wearing a helmet while riding. However, I just spent several days at the Santa Cruz Horseman's Assocation with the Bay Area Savvy Players and had a great time doing Parelli work. Most everyone wore helmets. I think I would get more excited about Pat Parelli riding around the arena with his toddler grand-daughter.... yep - without helmets - at the Reno Livestock Exhibition Center this last Saturday... I dunno - I guess I am able to separate the stupid grandstanding stuff from the other stuff that's worthwhile. I enjoy the Parelli stuff even though there are some aspects of the cult that make me laugh because of people's sometimes extreme regurgitation of gospel. But even the most rabid die-hard Parelli-ites can be seen wearing helmets!
