It just sounded from your post that you were under the impression that the horse was still alive, and could therefore be helped by prayers. ?Unfortunately, that is not the case.
The horse was euthanized about a week after the competition. ?Autopsy confirmed that it was an unrecoverable injury.
I don't remember the exact injury - the article was in 'technicalese', but the tendons were ruptured, I think, and there was thrombosis of the blood vessels. ?
Let's just keep our prayers going for this horse. The animals are all innocent. We will never know if the human is or is not....so...let's take the horses side.
I was at the Rolex and saw it on the big screen in the x-country field....Amy's horse took a bad step..never stopped galloping...made a small turn to the last jump which he jumped beautifully and after the jump he was 3 legged off...she jumped off and the rest is history....It was a very sad?day for everyone there...I have seen horses break their necks..break legs...a Advanced Level 4 * is a tough ride..no doubt..but most horses complete the task without a problem.....
Let's just keep our prayers going for Amy..she will never forget this horrible day...
