[RC] Endurance events test new ideas - rides2far(FEI) overhaul of endurance is in full swing,> with six working groups now assessing the rules and a successful trial> of a "Formula One" finish. As I recall the ones from Europe that posted on here about it said something along the lines of that being "a travesty" and wanted no part in credit for it. What an interesting way to make things *safer*...encourage higher speeds, insist on very fast qualifying rides, punish anyone who backs off in competition, sanction management for punishing positive drug tests, and have fewer vet checks...why didn't WE think of that???
