RE: [RC] Soaking Beet pulp - Lonnie RueschWe get pellets here. I usually soak overnight or all day depending on the feeding, but can "quick soak" in a couple hours. The longer it soaks, the more water it absorbs. When it's really cold, as it has been this year, I can get get a couple of cups of beet pulp to absorb a 2L bottle of water over night. Then, just before I take it out to the horses, I add almost another 2 L bottle of hot water to make it really smooshy. My horses love it and I figure I'm getting a good amount a water started into them when they might not be drinking as much cold water.Lonnie _________________________________________________________________ The MSN Entertainment Guide to Golden Globes is here.
