I just checked the results from the Pan Ams. Did I read correctly
that only two nations finished teams? It looks like only gold and
silver was awarded. Now looking more closely, were there only
three (senior) national teams competing? Maybe I am not reading the
results correctly. If this is correct, it is really too bad only
three nations were able to send teams for such a prestigious competition.
Is there any particular reason for this, perhaps quarantine/travel issues?
I thought I had read that a few months back in a USEF publication that the
US was sending a team and that Vonita Bowers was to be the chef d' equipe for
both the Pam Ams and European Championships.
