When I think of all of the trouble my horses have gotten into over the 
years (many caused by me) a branding is the least tragic thing they have 
had to deal with.
Also, having been branded (sort of, as an infant male) I do not recall 
that trauma at all.

I agree, don't buy a branded Rushcreek horse. That will leave more of 
them for the rest of us.....
