An Easyboot....  ;-)

Seriously, I have never had a shoe become bent on the trail, where I felt
the need to have a tool along to remove it. Maybe I have just had good luck.
Loose shoes you can hear right away if you pay attention, and can stick an
Easyboot over it before it becomes a real problem. (even then, I have been
lucky, and not needed a boot but a few times)
