I have no idea.  Our neighbor just told me the story.  It's softer than steel, so maybe it holds up as well as aluminum.  Although I would think aluminum is softer, but I don't know for sure.

Boy I've seen this on the trail on also with the Orange County Mounted Patrol when they are on the streets. How do the copper shoes hold up?
