Re: [RC] ??? for everyone---riding places in KY - Truman PrevattAs a native son I'll give you the total scope about the great state of Kentucky. There are three parts. There is Eastern Kentucky - which was best know for moonshine (however, their shine is way over rated) and little else. There is central Kentucky - the Louisville area where most of the snooty Kentuckians live (including my ex-wife). Then there is Western Kentucky - the land God made as his own country ;-) .There are a lot of places to ride in Kentucky. Western Kentucky has LBL which is a wonderful place to ride. Western Kentucky is also very close to Southern Ill and there is a lot of good riding there. Western Kentucky is also close to areas in the Hoosier NF in Southern Indiana. In Eastern Kentucky you have Daniel Boon NF and depending on where you live you are not far from the Big South Fork. Best thing is to take a trip across the state and see what you like.
