My Casino (qh/arab) is the same way. It seems to
come when he's bored, if we're on a new trail he won't spook a bit but put him
on one he's been on a lot and we're bopping from one side of the trail to the
other. Oh and he's 10 this year hehe he's settled down a little over the years
but I don't think it's going to stop anytime soon.
She actually spooks WORSE on the farm trail
she's ridden 2X per week for 2 years! And it's always a 'gaterlog' -
different 'gaterlogs' - and more likely on the way BACK to the farm - after
she's already passed it once!!!
Although I usually blame the Arab
grandparent.... he, he, he.... Maybe she'll get over it by age ten?
