Re: [RC] [RC] Gaiting - Mel CochranI have a Paso Fino mare that would be considered "pleasure" gaited by show standards. She has only been under saddle for a little over year and we are still working on her getting more extension when she gaits. When we have done LDs we alternate between gaiting and cantering for the most part. Right now, she prefers to canter as we have not really locked in her largo (fast paso gait). Right now we are in a fast corto (med speed paso gait). Here is a video of my hunter/jumper friend riding her in a "largo pole bending" event. She is not performing the largo here, just a fast corto.
