I've received several questions lately about why a rider's point 
standings as shown in rider history are different than the point 
standings shown at

http://www.doublejoy.com/erol/Points%5Cdefault.asp

The point standings are updated online at midnight PST on the 15th 
of the month and on the last day of the month or at about 2 week 
intervals.

The online rider history is updated within an hour of when the 
results are entered into the AERC database or almost real time.

As a result - the only time those two listing are certain to agree 
is at midnight the 15th and end of month.

As an example - the point standings were run at midnight on May 
31.  The Texas Bluebonnet results were entered into the db by the 
office on June 1.

As a result the point standings online did not include the 
Bluebonnet results and will not until the next update on June 15. 
 The rider history does include the Bluebonnet points.

Although it seldom happens - a ride that was previously in the 
point standings may not be included in the online results.  This 
happens when the office is making a correction to the results and 
does not finish them before they leave work on either the 15th or 
end of month.  The ride is not available when the standings are 
run at midnight.

The next run of the point standings in two weeks will correct this.
