How about taking the approach that the Duck puts on his ride
website?? I don’t know if they have ever had to enforce charging a
higher ride fee (or not discounting) for those “deserving” riders,
or if it would be upheld if some such rider protested, but I sure like the
concept of the Rider Oath and ride management’s determination to not be
railroaded by bellyachers! At a minimum, it might be a sufficient slap in
the face to people who may or may not realize the impact of their actions.
