The issue I think is exactly what is in the subject line - rude riders.
Whether it is a matter of cutting trail or not, NO ONE has a right to behave
like a boor at an event such as this. It doesn't seem to matter whether a rider
is experienced or not - there are jerks at every level. Frankly, if one cannot
comport themselves in an adult, mature way, they should stay home. Besides,
endurance rides are a PRIVILEGE! If RMs and their volunteers have to put up with
arrogant, self centered, snotty, mouthy riders or crew members, they will not
be willing to DO all this hard work anymore. It isn't just a matter
of cutting trail or proof - it is a mater of behaving like respectful adults,.
no wonder we have a new generation of snotty kids who don't have any
manners:) S
